M-Health Strategist
Location and working conditions: Geographical location is negotiable
Activity rate: 100%

Duration : Limited duration contract (2 years)

Conditions:
Swiss employment contract 5'900 CHF < > 7'400 CHF / monthly gross salary according to experience x 13. Annual Leave: 25 days per year. Contract includes contribution to transportation, health and repatriation insurance.
Context :
IeDA (www.ieda-project.org) improves quality of care in primary health care facilities of low income countries. It is an ambitious initiative led by Terre des hommes, a non-profit child relief and child right organization, with a wide range of high profile international partners and the support of Bill & Melinda Gates foundation in West Africa.
Articulating a strategically unique set of innovative instruments, E-Diagnostic, Data management, quality improvement and e-learning, IeDA has improved in Burkina Faso the accuracy of diagnosis’s and prescription by 50% in two years-time for more than 300,000 consultations.

Main responsibilities :
You will drive the international expansion of IeDA, a leading M-Health solution in Burkina Faso and in West Africa.
Your goal will be to:
- Develop and accompany the implementation of a scaling strategy for the sustainable diffusion of our innovation
- Work closely with the operational team to elaborate and formalize a viable business mode
- Review or identify our strategic partnerships
- Analyze our current markets and identify potential new ones
- Secure new funds for ensuring the expansion strategy's success.
Function details :
To support this development, we are looking for a Strategist who will guide IeDA's future growth in Africa and possibly beyond.
You will operate directly under Terre des hommes Disruptive Innovation Manager. You will team up with IeDA operation manager (based in Ouagadougou), as well as Headquarter marketing and health teams. You will be extremely mobile, supporting existing operations (Burkina Faso, Mali, possibly Mauritania), and scouting for new opportunities.
Profile :
- Self-driven, strategic-minded and creative professional
- Strong entrepreneurial skills, proven experience in M- or E-Health solutions
- Good knowledge of African contexts
- Sound technological or medical background
- Fluency in English and French
