We are looking for our delegation in Lebanon for a
Program Coordinator
Position Start Date : 30th of June 2016
Duration : 15 months
Location : Tyre – Lebanon
Conditions:
Swiss salaried contract 3'667 Chf (3100 €) < > 4'833 Chf (4200 €)/ month according to experience x 13, Holidays: 25 days per year. Local accommodation and transportation, Health insurance, accident and medical repatriation insurance, return flight.

Main Responsibilites :
• Responsible for the set-up of an M&E system (M&E plan, M&E tools, analysis) in accordance to each project and in collaboration with the Project Managers and M&E Officer
• Ensures a global M&E vision at the Delegation and a monthly quality follow-up of data
• Represents Tdh in relevant Coordination meetings at National level and ensures a proper dataflow/information between the different projects
• Ensures that a similar approach is used within different projects/activities and that all project stakeholders have a similar vision
• Liaises with other organizations to provide joint documents (key messages, awareness documents,…)
• Focal point for all strategical decisions within the projects
• Produces, jointly with project teams, awareness/advocacy documents
• Stands for Project Manager when absent
Fonction details :
• In his/her capacity of Foundation representative, the Coordinator reports to the Country Representative and provides multi-base, multi-sponsor and multi-partner supervision and follow-up for the projects in his/her sector.
• S/he is responsible for the implementation of the strategy and the development and managerial coordination of the project teams, and s/he has a major responsibility for the project strategies, steering and outcomes.
• S/he supports and validates the quality of the work done by the teams as regards the Tdh mandate and commitments and international standards.
• S/he coordinates and develops national measures for dialogue and partnership with state, national and international partners.
• S/he collaborates and coordinates with the DI for his/her theme for emergencies and the Thematic Advisors at the headquarters to develop and validate the thematic strategy in line with the Tdh strategic commitments, and to carry out advocacy and strategic capitalisation activities.
• S/he facilitates and coordinates an intersectoral and/or integrated approach with the other sectors' projects.
Child protection policy:
• To commit to respect Tdh Risk Management Policies including: Child Protection Policy, Safety and Security Policy and Anti-Fraud/Corruption Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy
• To commit to ensure the best implementation possible of the Tdh Risk Management Policies in Serbia
• To commit to inform supervisors and to deal with any cases, allegations, or possibility of transgression, even potential, of the Tdh Risk Management Policies
Profile
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• knowledge of child protection
• knowledge of emergency and development contexts
• Fluency in project proposal writing as well as reporting using PCM terminology
• Good expertise in monitoring and evaluation
• Management of complex emergency and development projects (local and expat teams)
• Excellent team leadership; organisational and managerial skills
• Experience of major institutional donors (UNICEF; SwS; DDC; AFD)
• Knowledge of fund accounting; procurement and financial management of key donor agencies
• Experience undertaking field assessments; exploratory missions; baseline and endline survey...
• Experience in developing strategies as well as local partnerships
Knowlegde of child protection and juvenile justice
• Excellent interpersonnal skills (incl. communication and representation
• Commitment to excellence; attention to detail
• Mature and autonomous
• Proactive
• Flexible; solution-oriented and with a good sense of humour
